Because of the elevation of La Amistad Ecolodge and Rainforest Reserve, the weather is temperate year-round. At the lodge, temperatures range from about 25º C (77º F) in the day to about 20ºC (68º F) at night, although some days are warmer and some nights are cooler. There is no significant temperature difference from month to month, so we never have steamy hot days nor freezing cold nights. We recommend bringing clothes for warm days and cool evenings.

The dryer months are December through the end of April, although there is some rain all year round, and most days in the rainier months are sunny in the mornings with a couple of hours of rain in the afternoons.
