How to get to La Amistad Ecolodge and Rainforest Reserve
You can get to La Amistad Ecolodge and Rainforest Reserve from both Costa Rica and Panama.
From Costa Rica:
Driving:
Drive down the Panamerican Hwy South or the Coastal Hwy until reaching the exit of Paso Real where you turn towards San Vito de Coto Brus. From San Vito, take the road northeast to Sabalito. From Sabalito, head north toward Las Mellizas, passing the tiny villages of La Union, Río Negro, La Lucha, and Tigra. Just before reaching Las Mellizas, turn left at the sign for La Amistad Lodge. If you miss the turnoff, there is another entrance from Las Mellizas. Travel time is about 45 minutes from San Vito,
By taxi:
